If you were a racing fan in the in the 1980's, you likely spent your Saturday mornings watching TNN and "American Sports Cavalcade", which covered pretty much every form of motorsports in North America, along with the occasional rodeo. Everything was on tape delay, but without the Interwebs that wasn't a big deal and the production values on those 90-minute programs was superior to the live coverage.
"And They Walked Away" was a series of crash compilations Diamond P Sports sold on VHS and broadcast during the off season. This is the first of the series and covers everything from NASCAR to CART to NHRA to World of Outlaws and IMSA.
Enjoy
